I have lost about 3 times as much credit as my total boinc credit! The project has some serious issues.

Still a major DISASTER! Most of my computers are able to now get and send back work but I am not sure credits are being credited properly. V1 credits are negative but V2-V4 are positive at the moment.

Ah - that's where most of mine came from.
Made me jump from overall team place 29 to 8 with a short stop at 31 the day before.

GG stats still a DISASTER and no posts from the head monkey him self yet.

Is there any body here that knows how to fix Goofy's Credit problems and his project problems and is willing to help him fix it ,for it appears he does not know how. A few day to a week ago I lost a few Billion Credits for I was in a comfortable wold position of 9. Since than one user received a credit of 873Billion in one week and now it will take me 365 days+ to recover my loss. This is extreme. I worked hard for years to obtain my credits.... Is there any way we can recover our credits?, perhaps from a back up?

Is there nothing that can be done to correct the credit errors on this project? This jerk has again totally screwed up stats for the whole BOINC community and has no clue how to fix it. His past attempts to fix his errors usually makes things worse. Time for action!

I can exclude the project from the combined stats. Can't fix his export.

I for one would agree to excluding him. If he get no stat's few, if any, would crunch the project. It is difficult to classify this silly project as "science" anyway.

People crunch for different reasons. People will still run this project for the badges, for the WUProp hours, or because they want to assist with the project''s goals. Not everyone cares about credit.

EDIT: That being said, there ARE those who care about credit, and you can add me to the list of people who believe these stats should be excluded from the global leaderboards until they're fixed.

It's hard to know whether exclusion is an improvement - it's an impossible situation for stats; unless you have a copy of their export before the project went "ape", and freeze their export on that day...

I personally think exclusion would be a way until the project's problems are fixed.
It was nice placing number 8 on our team (with that five quarter kkk), and I don't like it to be number 31, just because of the Goofy stats that went missing (before that big bunch of credits was thrown at me without deserving them).
Actually I was at 29, now I will have to get back to it, but it's better than having to deal with all those ups and downs all the time.

Weather we exclude the project stats or not I am not going to support this project any longer. Two years ago I asked the Admin what is the projects goal, what is it doing, etc. To date there is nothing on the Main Page or in the forum what the project is all about. I could be earning contributing to his fortune for all I know. Close the Project already.

Although Boincstats only shows an inital loss of around 4 million, I actually lost about 1,2 billion from Goofx, when my total boinc credit was around 440 million!
Then the loss was 'corrected' and I gained 1.2 billion - obviously hopelessly wrong.
So I am glad that the project is excluded. As nice as 1,2 billion is, compared to 440 million, since I didn't earn those credits I don't want them. I have now unattached all my hosts from the project.

Another Disaster at the project!
GG has F*K around with the credits again. Appears that he attempted to set points & RAC back to sometime in mid-to-late July of this year.
All my hosts have about the same amount of credit & RAC regardless of when they were added to the project.

Project has been going off-line / unreachable at random intervals last 12 hours. In fact it is unreachable again right now.

TIME FOR GG TO SEND THE MONKEYS BACK TO THE ZOO, RETIRE THEM FROM THEIR AND OUR MISERIES AND END THE PROJECT ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I see the project has resumed sending / receiving tasks but TOTAL CREDITS & RAC are still BORKED!

HOW CAN RAC BE HIGHER THAN TOTAL CREDITS?

NO STATS SITE SHOULD RESUME OR ALLOW CREDITS FROM THIS PROJECT TO BE INCLUDED IN BOINC TOTALS UNTIL THIS IS FIXED!

I make change in database with credits, I compiled and using newest version of validator and total credits looks much better than in next 2 weeks.
I hope I fixed "total credits". RAC will be fixed itself during next 1-2 week. I could try to set RAC to ZERO but situation will be the same <- every task you send to server will be fixing RAC.
Maybe it's time to start import my stats againi.

It is nice to think about the future and asking for donations. There is no chance I will donate a cent as I am going backwards in my stats AGAIN. Yesterday I lost another 3Billion. I don't understand how can I loose that much when I was never given 3 Billion in the first place.

Willy, any chance of deleting GoofyxGrid from my stats without loosing my overall total?. I will be happy if my totals reduced to a date a month ago before all this started. If not than freeze the projects stats and don't import it for this is just unproductive.

Nobody but me will bear the consequences of all 5 years of upside and downside of my projects.
Unfortunately, I can't change the past (I feel embarrassed by this one, especially over the last year). I know that the past affects what you think of me and my projects now. However, I know what I have done wrong and I can and I will learn from the past to improve this situation in future.

I don't understand? So you lost 3 billion credits which you never had?
Many user get fake credits after last database crush, but like I wrote many times is fixed <- I wrote about that on my forum

According to Free-dc stats you have:
2019-07-29 = 95,580,799.46
2019-08-29 = 3,773,700,256.54 <- that was FUBAR, not only in your case
2019-09-17 = 293,787,472.00 <- after re-calculate
So you have even 3 times more credits that you had. If you wanted I will restore your 2019-07-29 credits before SNAFU.

Better way would to delete imported stats from GoofyxGrid@home NCI from 2019-08-29 and 2019-08-30

At this moment problem was solved, so it's not nessesery to freeze import for all crunchers.

Is it "safe" to allow these projects back into the combined stats?

I myself don't have any virtual machines, but my goofy NCI credits are at least double what they should be.
I suggest that ALL these credits be reset to zero - the whole history - EVERYTHING - and ignored from now on. No-one will lose measurable CPU effort - we all know that these credits do not cost noticeable power.
And where are 5-years' project-results ?
Goofy NCI's almost empty and lavish credits are a mockery of research support - and thus of BOINC itself.
They should not be recognised ANYWHERE.
I realise that my opinion could also be applied to WUProp - credits here are relatively small but results are immediate. I value them and would contribute anyway without any credit. Is goofy worth so much more ?
