Per Post by GoofyX at GCC the project will split into two and the current URL will need to be changed. See message below:

Change for GoofyxGrid@Home

I have first result for my efforts for monkeys and goofyxGrid@home. Because at this moment there is no possibility to have one project with many cpu and many nci apps (this problem is reported on mailing-group and on github), I have to split my GG@H into two separated project:
1. http://cpu.goofyxgridathome.net
2. http://nci.goofyxgridathome.net

ad <- 1
Not only for monkeys
I wolud like to start some virtualBox cpu application with Machine Learning, Neuytral Network (face and object recongnitions) etc.

ad <- 2
Users, teams, credits will be imported from GCC,

I added NCI and noticed BOINC kept communicating with it.

It adds correctly (although notes not accepting any new users) and communicates correctly, but it backs off for several seconds after reporting no new work and then tries again... and keeps trying unless you turn off work fetch.

NCI Work has resumed (Monkeys V1 & V3 for now) at http://nci.goofyxgridathome.net/

CPU Work to added at a later date at http://cpu.goofyxgridathome.net/

Guess we are waiting for Stats export to resume.

To prevent any confusion and stats disasters: it looks like the users and teams with their credit were imported to nci.goofyxgridathome.net thereby making this the successor and replacement for the old project. cpu.goofyxgridathome.net is an entirely new project and will be added to BOINCstats as such. Agreed?

The project may import the users and teams to the cpu project as well but without the credit, otherwise it will be counted twice in the combined stats which is not fair.

AGREE! NCI would be replacement/successor to old GG/Monkeys in stats, etc...
- and - CPU as NEW project, etc when ever it goes live and they hopefully do it like you say.

GCC --(convert--> GoofyX NCI, Yes. The whole GCC system, main website (not BOINC) included is unreachable/unresponsive.

GoofyX CPU is suppose to be a fresh project. However, as there's absolutely nothing setup there and only vague plans, don't bother adding it to BS/BAM.

At this point though, anything with the project is moot as there's nothing there and NCI isn't even fully migrated yet (home page still hasn't been finished filling out) and experiencing lots of issues (ironically, one of them being the whole messaging system is down right now).

So, when can we expect new URL to be updated to the clients?

Thank you.

Any update on when it will be added back to stats, etc?

I'm actually kind of confused.

We have this post:
[BOINC@Poland wrote:
goofyx]In next 1-2 weeks there will be a big change in GoofyxGrid@home because of merging with GCC (Grid Computing Center).
GoofyxGrid@home will finish acctual existens and will appear as sub-project in GCC.
.

BOINCstats never had a project GoofyxGrid@home. We do have a project "Grid computing center" on http://boinc.gridcomputingcenter.org/ (or better, that's where it was).

Now the post says GoofyGrid will merge with GCC and will cease to exist. However, GCC is now dead and two new GoofyxGrid URL's emerge. So, what exactly did happen? GoofyGrid merged with GCC under the GoofyGrid name and then was split again?

I tried to make sense of it by reading their forum but sadly I can't figure it out.

So, before I make any changes that mess things up some project admin has to take the time to make clear what should happen.

I believe the original project was called Goofyxgrid (I know it was called something). Apparently the Admin couldn't figure out how to run both CPU and NCI work concurrently on the same server and thought GCC could/would facilitate that, hence the change. Could have been that BOINC itself does not allow this, although I remember the infamous FreeHal somehow found a way. My understanding now however is that the solution arrived at is to split into two separate projects. So I think you pretty much have it right. You may save yourself a lot of work to wait for the confirmation you mentioned. I will try to post something at the NCI site tonight to alert the admin as to the predicament and see if we can all get some clarification. In the midst of a 5 martini lunch, hope that made some sense!

Hello,
That's corrent <- and it's a long fuzzy story.
First was GoofyxGrid@Home, next was GCC (based on GG@H), but now I returned with my project back to GoofyxGrid@Home and I split it into to projects:
- GoofyxGrid@Home NCI - http://nci.goofyxgridathome.net
- GoofyxGrid@Home CPU - http://cpu.goofyxgridathome.net <- at this moment it's empty because I still need time to work on it

It's all a conspiracy by GoofyX to drive you insane and take over your site...it's part of his master plan to try and take over the world. But maybe you could be his assistant...

You just forgot GCC was GoofyX, Willy. If you look at Archive of the site it's there.

The number of projects has reached critical mass you don't remember them all anymore. The conspiracy is working. LOL

FreeHAL actually didn't in the context that is happening here. They had one NCI app and took that and bundled several work units together to make a CPU intensive application for a small period of time. They also allowed you to run several copies of the same application but I do not recall if they did that while running the CPU intensive version. And again, it was still the same NCI application. In Goofy's scenario it is running multiple different NCI applications at the same time alongside CPU intensive applications that is causing the issue. Too bad FreeHAL is no more...

NCI Goofyxgrid server(s) seem to be working again reliably for ~48 hours now, yet it keeps showing off-line in the list on the left.

Waiting for Willy to fix whatever needs fixing here at BOINCStats so the on-line status is correct and our points show up here.

I want to write the same...

I know GG@H NCI was really unstable durring last month because I had to test some servers solutions but at this moment (like I wrote on project forum) no more testing...
Only think I am going to do (I wrote it on forum too) it's moving project to destination server <- I am very delayed with working on GG@H CPU and AN/ML/AI application.
