Anyone know what is happening with this project?

Looking at the forums there has not been much going on since Sept 2019 and the Server Status page is down as well some others.

When I request an update in Boinc Manager I get these messages,

1413 BURP 26/02/2020 08:14:17 Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
1414 BURP 26/02/2020 08:14:17 Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU
1415 26/02/2020 08:14:18 Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
1416 BURP 26/02/2020 08:14:18 Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates

As much as it pains me to say it, I think it's time to admit that BURP is dead. There hasn't been any activity from Janus in a couple of years, and the database has been acting wonky for a long time. It was by far my favorite project, and has lived atop my resource share since I first joined in 2006. It's too bad that Renderfarm.fi died the way it did, if they had managed to stay open (did we ever get the real story on that?) we would all be up to our necks in BOINC rendering work right now. They really had an "in" with the creator community, and there was always plenty of work in the short time it was around.

If anyone is active in the Blender circles, drum up support for either the revival of BURP, or the creation of a new project. I'm sure that Janus would be extremely helpful, if you could find a way to contact him.
