No responses to simple questions on the project's news pages. No work.
Seems as if the project is dead, time to retire.

While I agree that there is very little communication from the project admins, there were some credits rewarded for completed work as recently as two days ago (June 8, 2021) and there was a pretty significant amount of work for a short time about a week ago.

There are projects still marked as active in the list that haven't had consistent work for YEARS, but occasionally pop up with new work, like BOINC@TACC and nanoHUB@home, so I wouldn't consider a project with recent (albeit inconsistent) work to be retired.

I agree... too soon to complain.

Also agree, Way too soon to retire beef@home, supposedly it's mainly a test site for Minecraft@home.

One of the most recent "problematic" projects was GOOFYXGRID aka 'the monkey theory'. I'll leave it to anyone needing more info to research the forums here.

Their website is unreachable and Bok's stats at Free-DC haven't been able to update for 8 days.

Time to euthanase this project.

As noted in previous post, this is a test project.
No Not even close to the "unofficial rules" of dropping a project of 6 to 12 months of inactivity or website being M.i.A.

Yes, it's still unreachable now.
It's a TEST PROJECT that probably will come and go. Apparently it was never designed to be an "open to the public" project.
See the post at the BOINC/Berkley message board Message 104616 for more details.

I will leave it up to @Willy if he wants to keep it on the active list or retire the project.

Thanks for the link Dr Who Fan. So it was a waste of time and electricity as some computer nerd was using our computers to learn how BOINC works.

Time to retire Beef@thome.
Last contact from project > 2021-06-22 18:35:03 UTC (91 days 17:00:44 old).
As previously posted Apparently it was never designed to be an "open to the public" project.
