Hi Willy,
there is no projectdescription for Spinhenge on your pages.
The project is becoming very famous, so i think the user need one!
Here please, is a very short version:
English: The research of the physical characteristics of nano-magnetic molecules
German: Erforschung physikalischer Eigenschaften nano-magnetischer Moleküle
Regards from Spinhenge

:-D

Hi all there,

could you please make the description of Spinhenge@home a bit longer?

For example:

The study of molecular magnets and controlled nanoscale magnetism. These magnetic molecules may be used to develop tiny magnetic switches, with applications in medicine (such as local tumor chemotherapy) and biotechnology.

Regards Thomas form Spinhenge

does anyone have a problem with Spinhenge restarting after being pre-empted? For example, Spinhenge will run for 1 hour (67% complete) then another project will start. When Spinhenge starts again it starts at 0% complete again with 0 on the time processed. I have my preferences set to keep projects in memory so I am not sure why.

Maybe check that your prefs didn't get screwed up somewhere?

Some people have had problems with this lack of checkpointing. I, and others, seem to be OK with it.
'Keep projects in memory' was the way I originally worked around the 'no checkpoints' problem and it works OK for me.
