I haven't seen a unit take this long ever.

I've had SETI and Einstein units do the same, best thing to do when you see its taking too long is just delete it so you don't waste your cycles.

This was a problem in the API. The SETI apps are linked against the new API with a fix. Not shure if WCG has done this.
A restart of the BOINC client would fix this eventualy.
