What is he state of the credits for WCG. Are they still reduced in BoincStats from what is credited from the project? I think they used to be reduced by deviding by 7 or soething?

They seem to be on par with other projects that do not have their credits trimmed by BoincStats, so I was wondering why WCG is?

Credits are not reduced/trimmed by BOINCstats for any project, not now, and it never has been.

I think you are confusing this with what WCG does by themselves: WCG credits are reduced by a factor of 7 before exporting them to the XML files to be on par with other BOINC projects.

WCGs points were already an established "currency" before BOINC started. With the inclusion of BOINC, and now the complete move towards it,m they simply invenbted the factor 7 to get the BOINC credits in line with the old internal points system.

I think there will always be this double counting of points and credits, to divide the old points by 7 will cause a big upheaval in the established community, and to grant only the BOINC credits as WCG points will be hard on the Boincies. I think the current solution is valid and good.
