I'm sure I'm going to get yelled at for this, but what's the status with DrugDiscovery@Home as far as BAM! is concerned? I see it in the list of Active Projects (on the left) and XML stats are displayed here, but I don't see it on the project sign-up page, so I'm not sure how to join via BAM! I searched the forum to no avail for any info whatsoever. They have work available, as of this posting.

For the moment, while we debug lots of problems, account creation is disabled even. We hope that once we're on the new server, that a) the scheduler works and b) we can re-enable account creation (with invitation code).

Account creation for drugdiscovery@home is enabled again, and I have an invitation code - but I can't create an account on the Sign Up for Projects page. Am I doing something wrong? Does something need to be changed in BAM for this to work? Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you need to go their website FIRST and create an account ... because you will be asked for the invitation code. BAM can't supply the invitation code for you and so can't create the account for you.

Okay - I'll try that. It says not to use that page if you're using v5.2+, but I guess the invitation code makes that irrelevant. Thanks!

You may also need to used the "Advanced" tab in your BOINC Manager and attach your host that way because I don't think you can even attach your host with BAM (someone else please correct me if I'm wrong!). But once you're set up your stats will be reported to BOINCstats and everything else should be normal.

Giving invitation codes to anyone who asks defeats the purpose of having them at all.

I've just registered, it's really disabled.

Remember that the correct account creation address is:

And Account creation with invitation code is enabled again (drugdiscovery message board)
