I am looking for projects to use my NVIDIA GPU's. I am using GPUGrid, but I do not like how the deadline is so close to the time you download the WU. For my GTX260 it is no problem, but for a less powerful GPU like in my laptop, the deadline passes before the WU is finished.

seti@home (Windows right?)

small, fast and it will give you points really fast, with my 8500 I get a job done in 1 hour and half.

I have been running Seti but I am tired of it not being able to upload all the time, and I would rather do something related to medicine or something that would have a better likelyhood of producing helpful results in the near future.

Currently GPU crunching is limited in programs that lend themselves to the massive parallel computing model.

I have seen rumors of GPU applications in the pipeline for Rosetta, SIMAP and WCG.

. . . but, for now, CPU crunching rules.

Check out this thread on GPU computing at World Community Grid.

Check out the medical-related subprojects at WCG.

It seems AQUA@home and DrugDicsovery have a CUDA GPU App and I think Milkway@home has or is working on one.
