Has anyone ever achieved actual contact with administrators at uFluids? It appears, looking at the Q&A messages and the Forum messages at uFluids, that the administrators never answer user questions. In the Q&A, there is a thread that started February 10, 2006 and continuing right through the 4 1/2 years since, with various users asking for information on the possibility of getting a linux app for the project. Never in the 4 1/2 years has there been a response on that thread from anyone with knowledge of the project.

I gave up on uFluids a while back. Intermittent work, bad WUs, no response to questions, low pay.
It's basically a dead project. Their host count is steadily falling. I'd suggest another project.

I tried to reach Bob at the end of march via PM and mail for another problem (merging hosts) without luck...

Website back online. No work available and no explanation in the news or forum.

I was able to get 4 UWs yesterday, none today.

Those would just be resends of failed results, timeouts or aborted work from when the server recovered.

I found some units with status: "invalid, too late"...

After a long offline time, uFluids was back without any changes (no linux, no checkointing, no units). I try to merge some hosts and had no luck.
The Project admin is also not answering to PM and email. The mail account seems to be hacked too. The Project moderator "Misfit" tried to help but he got also no response from the Project owner...

Sad, really sad.

Server has been displaying this message for over a month:
Unable to connect to database - please try again later Error: 2002Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

There does not seem to be any way to contact the project admin.
Sure seems like the project is closed up.

It had been on the back burner for a long time.

I get this since months...

Pretty safe to say it's dead.
