CPDN has been down for quite a while now. At one point, there was a message saying it would be back up 08/05, but that has passed. Does anyone know what's up, or have a new date?

Their forum is non-standard, and at a different URL. Maybe that site is still up, and I can find out there. But I don't know the URL. Little help?

TIA!

They've unfortunately ditched that one, it's URL was http://www.climateprediction.net/board/
They only have the new one yet, and that's down as well. In those good old days, back when we all had single-core CPUs, that forum was a good information source that was online even if the servers in Oxford went down. No that's not possible any more.

It could be a continuation of the problems they were having before the scheduled outage this past weekend. There's some chatter in the BOINC forums at Berkeley here ClimatePrediction.Net (AKA CPDN) NEWS and here News on Project Outages.

Whatever the problem is, let's hope they're back soon...
