Hi! I'm Joel from DENIS@Home staff. We are interested on appear in the BOINCStats database of projects. First of all,I will introduce the project a bit.

DENIS (Distributed computing. Electrophysiological models. Networking collaboration. In silico research. Sharing knowledge.) uses volunteer devices to compute large amounts of cardiac electrophysiological simulations. DENIS uses the idle time on your computer (Windows or Linux) to simulate the electrical activity of the heart.

You can find more information about us in http://denisproject.github.io/
And our Boinc Project URL is: http://denis.usj.es/denisathome/

This is our first BOINC Project and we are open to all your tips and suggestions.

For now, DENIS is prepared for Windows and Linux volunteers(64bits and 32bits), but in the future we will add more platforms.

good to hear. those 2 are the same thing that happens on all new projects, when they first start out,
haven't gotten their forums ready so the user can post problems
and they forget to set the server up not to send the same task to the same host, left over from their testing, before going public with it...
not a problem.
thanks........

Welcome aboard, DENIS@Home!

@jcastro... If you aren't doing so already, can you please export stats? Also, can you clearly state that it's okay for Willy to import them and post on BOINCstats?

Good luck,

Hi! I think that our project is exporting correctly the stats, if not, please advice us. BOINCstats can use the data from the project, so yes, Willy can import them and post it in BOINCstats.

Thank you for the wellcome!

You might want to check on that. It looks like Free-DC has added you, but it doesn't look like any credits are posted at their site:

Thanks for the info! It seems to show the data of yesterday, maybe
the refresh time difference it only shows the user that have work on the project before launch it (me ), I suppose that tomorrow it will show most populated stats.

Regards, Joel.

Hello,

We decrease the refresh time of stats and now it's all ok! Stats are shown in Free-DC.

Thanks for your help!

Apparently, I already have an account but it does not log me in using the same password used for all of the BOINC accounts. I tried using the forgot password link but I'm guessing it isn't going through because of your email problems mentioned here: http://denis.usj.es/denisathome/forum_thread.php?id=5

I also noticed it said it was created today, so I'm assuming it was activating the BOINC-wide teams/user accounts. Though I have not had a notification yet.

And yes I'm using the same password from the BOINC-wide setup as well. Until this is fixed, I can't reset the password or post in any of your forums for help.

Hello!

Sorry for the inconvenience of email, we are working with the university staff to solve the problem as fast as we can, they have a lot of security issues to avoid spam and that's why the process is being slow. We have enabled BOINC-wide teams like 3 hours ago, if the problem persists please contact to me using email and we will search what we can do.

Regards, Joel.

Hello jcastro! So, when can we see your project added to boincstats.com?

It was on the SignUpForProjects a few minutes ago. I asked BAM! to create me an account for it, and it did. Yeah. And, I was able to logon to the project site with that, adjust my settings, create a profile, and create a team. Yeah.

BUT: It is not on my MyProjects page after having disappeared from the SignUpForProjects. As such, I can't use BAM! to attach it to all my computers, adjust host settings, etc. It is also not under the Statistics nor the StatusSchedulers lists on the left.

I have noticed such a problem in the past with new projects. Until you have credit for that project, what you have described is the situation I have seen. So how does one attach it to be able to earn the credits?
If you go to Host List and click on a host you should see the new project there and be able to add it to that host. A bit of a nuisance since you have to do each host separately.

Hi!

It's great that all seem to work perfectly now, but I have seen a little mistake. In the image for signature it appears "DENIS@Hom" and not "DENIS@Home", it's just a little thing.

the image:

I hope that didn't cost so much effort.

Thanks for your patience, Joel.

Max length for a project name in the signature is nine characters.

Ok!! Perfect,I was only afraid about the "hom" could cause some problem in the stats, but if is only a signature issue, no problem!

Thanks for your attention ( and speed! )
Joel.
