A DEFINITE NO GO FOR ME
Reasons:
1) BASED IN RUSSIA.
2) NO user forums and NO Questions and answers.
3) MAJORITY of "registered users" are SPAM BOTS.
4) No useful information on application - for all I know it could be SPYWARE/MALWARE.

I second that. In addition there are no contact information or name of any Admin. I will be remove it from the list of known BOINC_projects from the BOINC wiki.

No stats yet either so no rush to add it to BS.
Please do not PM, IM or email me for support (they will go unread/ignored). Use the forum for support.

The project is still in the beta stage. For this reason, in no hurry to include it in the list of BS.
The problem a bot spam is solved.
The forum and the section "Questions-answers" is planned to open soon.
Information on application will be placed.
Besides, the credit system will be optimized and the system of chekpoint is entered.
Only after execution of these conditions was planned to ask about switching on in the BS list.

Unfortunately point No. 1
1) BASED IN RUSSIA.
can't be changed.
This very serious problem for BS?

I met with the manager of the project, give him your comments. I hope he will accept them carefully.

Thanks!

Thanks AlexA for clarifying a number of points. The fact that it is based in Russia is not the problem. The fact is that previous Russian projects did not follow the norm is. In this case whilst it is noted that the project is still in the set up stage, one would have thought that listing a contact email address would have helped since the Forum is not yet set up. I am sure that if Project Admins talk to their volunteers this distrust would not occur. I suppose language difference plays a big part but with a little effort like translating services it could be overcome. Good luck for Science has a universal language and providing it is explained what is going on the project will develop in time.

Did some lookups on the domain name and the domain/server above it.

They are registered by a private individual (that's literally what the records say) so a bit of a red flag there.

However, the domain it is under, http://isa.ru seems to be an actual educational institution.

"Welcome to the ISA RAS website!
Institute for Systems Analysis of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISA RAS) is a unique autonomous research, advisory and consultative organization originally conceived, created and evolving as a multidisciplinary scientific entity bringing together experts in areas such as mathematics and economics, management and information technologies, biology and ecology, sociology and philosophy..."

The interesting thing is the netmaxproject domain has been registered since Nov 2012 and expires this year.

Was revisiting the site and saw there was a link to more info on the page although still no forums. It appears it has some sister projects:

http://distributedcomputing.ru/drupal/en/research

There's a JAVA fractal generator although without looking into more, doesn't seem to do much else on it's own.
