I have decided not to add this project to either BAM! nor the stats. The project is based in Russia and we are in no way certain what the project actually does. Russia is the aggressor in the war in Ukraine and I do not intend to support them. If after the war and proper rehabilitation of Russia the project still exists then the project can be added.

Change my mind.

P.S. I'm aware there are three other active Russia based projects. These have existed for quite some time and have established themselves as trusted projects.

Thank you for reviewing ... I believe you are correct ... Down the road we can review with hind sight glasses and add them if they merit.

Thank You Willy. Your decision in this situation is correct.

By the way, I suggesting to add warning about "Project based in Russia" to 3 other active Russian projects. It can be important information for not advanced users.

@Willy I can't find this new project in any stats or signups page here on BOINC Stats. You said you changed your mind and would list project stats, etc.
Could you please double check on that?

No, I meant, you can try to change my mind. I haven't so far.

Hello everyone, let me bring some clarity to the discussion. I am the project administrator parlea.ru/boinctest . The project is really located in Russia and initially the project was a student scientific work of NUST MISIS University, the purpose of which was to study the effectiveness and behavior of mobile devices as computing nodes on the BOINC platform to solve the problem of finding orthogonal diagonal Latin squares (ODLS). The computational application was based on one of the tasks of the RakeSearch project. This stage has been successfully completed, at the moment we are continuing scientific work in the direction of expanding the project, in particular, our colleagues from Gerasim provided a bundle of tasks for the experiment. Since parlea is a test project, at the moment it is important for us to monitor the behavior of a grid system with a large number of nodes and the implementation of various computing applications. It is also planned to include an application related to neural networks. The main goal is to debug and test a complex grid system from different devices, after which a separate project based on these developments is planned.

The project is not completely stable, periodically we have access problems, we debug some errors manually and in small steps we deal with the functioning of the server part. We are saving the results of the current experiment and will pass them on to colleagues from Gerasim for analysis.

We also plan to update the project description soon so that there is no misunderstanding on the part of the community.

Thank you for taking the time to discuss, feel free to ask me questions either here or directly in the drus#7237 discord

Thank you for the description of your project and plans, drus13! You should put something like this into the project description on the project web site instead of just leaving it completely blank.

If you want your project to show up in the various BOINC stats reporting sites, you need to enable stats exporting on the project server.

Also, if you want feedback from the people who are running the test applications for you, it would be very helpful to enable the message board on the project web site so that users can report successes and errors, and ask questions directly. Or if you only want to use Discord for that, put your Discord channel/information in the project description on the project web site.

Project NOW supports SECURE / https connection > https://parlea.ru/boinctest/

Now has the following apps:
Cycle Search
Platform Version Created Average computing
Android running on ARM 0.09 4 Jun 2021, 6:37:19 UTC 0 GigaFLOPS
Android running on Intel x64 compatible 0.09 4 Jun 2021, 6:37:20 UTC 0 GigaFLOPS
Android running on Intel x86 compatible 0.09 4 Jun 2021, 6:37:18 UTC 0 GigaFLOPS
Android running on ARM 64-bit arm64-v8a 0.09 4 Jun 2021, 6:37:19 UTC 0 GigaFLOPS

GTCL Cycle Search

Microsoft Windows running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU 0.08 15 Jan 2023, 19:49:49 UTC 683 GigaFLOPS

boinc2docker

But... still is not exporting stats nor have forum. What's taking so long for these fairly simple to implement items?

The site still has a lot of problems with database and scripting errors. It definitely is not ready for the traffic load that would begin as soon as people start seeing the project in stats reporting sites.

It has been almost 1 1/2 month since the project admin posted here.... Was hoping we could get a brief update on the status of the project?

Above quoted is still 100% accurate....
Today I noticed than none of my completed tasks have validated for the project since 9 Mar 2023, even though they have a 2nd wing person/task.

Hey everyone, I apologize for the delayed response, parlea project is alive and it works now. We had some troubles with results validation because DB was currupted in some way. Today we started new experiment with new test application that uses virtualbox for deep learning. Feel free to pm me in discord drus#7237

I don't see any credit for the 100's if tasks/work completed by us volunteers the last 2 months
Does that mean all the work completed by us volunteers the last 2 months was for NOTHNG?

EDIT TO ADD: PLEASE ENABLE FORUM MESSAGE ON THE PROJECT.
NOT EVERYONE WANT TO ADD/JOIN ANOTHER CHAT/MESSAGING/SPY APP ON THEIR CELL PHONES.

The project site is rewarding credits for the tasks completed during the initial testing phase, but the project admins have not enabled stats exporting yet so they do not show up on stats sites like this one.

I know that stats are not exporting. I was referring to the last several batches of work that sat in "validation pending" after completing until they realized the corruption of the DB.

I don't see any credit awarded on the project site for them and they all have disappeared from the listing of tasks.
