I know Gerasim can't be supported by BAM, Willy said that earlier.

Serval (the admin guy there) has recently fixed the project website. Before, it was a problem for me viewing it on FireFox. I believe it was also a problem on Internet Exploder.
He has enabled an auto log-on button as well now which is good!

Everything about this project is bizarre

Just joined (for fun), managed to get my account set up properly (I think), crunched a couple of WUs. I still have no idea what this project is about though. Seems to be a typical uppercase, but why did they bother with a screensaver in that case?

Oh, this isn't one for credit-hounds - Granting about one third of the 'normal' credit that I get. But at least it's granted quickly.

The only info I found is written at www.boinc.de under projects is, that this is a russian project which develope BOINC web-pages under ASP

Back in October Serval said on the Gerasim forum 'At present project does not have science goal.'.

Before I join a project I want to know what it intends to do and how it intends to achieve this. At the moment Gerasim could be a BOINC project whose workunits have no scientific or mathematical content or purpose.

Until they have a "better" goal, they are doing prime searching. Just like VTU and other prime searching projects.

But until they provide some information about what exactly they're doing, how do we know they're not duplicating work done at VTU and other prime search projects?

AFAIK, VTU is duplicating work I could do with pencil and paper.

Is this still true?
