Also some bad news, their AMS support seems broken. All I get back is broken XML. Will report it in their forum.

There is good and bad (sad?) news regarding Lattice.

The good news is, they fixed the server-side scripts to support BAM!.

The bad news: The asked me not to enable Lattice within BAM! at this point.

As you know, I always respect the wishes of the projects regarding publishing stats, or (and this one is new) not enabling BAM!.

So a little more patience is required.

From the Lattice website....

June 7, 2007 Project URL Activated!
All, you should now point your clients to http://boinc.umiacs.umd.edu/. We will have a small to moderate amount of work in the system shortly. This will be our first test with public clients since the project was re-launched, so we'll see what happens. However, this is real data, not test data! Good luck, everybody.

Yup.

Note: no checkpointing and the "estimated time to completion" isn't accurate.
And the core client version must be 5.5.1 or higher as they use the wrapper program with it.

Btw: my WUs are running happily so far.

On the upside, they say they have applications for Win, Linux, PPC OSX and Intel OSX! Impressive for a new-ish project.

On the down side, they are using *really* short due dates. I just downloaded one for my G4 iBook, due 06/10. A 3 day due date will cause panic mode, regardless of "connect" value. And it thinks it will take 107 hours. Oops. We'll see.

Well, estimation isn't accurate. Don't worry, the WU will most probably be finished in 1-2 hours.
Adam wrote at the message board that the WU length can vary a bit though.

Yep. My slowest G4 was able to finish it in 1:50. My G5 finished it in 0:45, and my PD & X2 windows machines in the middle.

So what's the dealio on getting Lattice to BOINCStats, if not BAM? I see the request to hold off from back in May. Does that still apply? The project claims they are in Beta now.

Willy already has tehm in his database, but he has to wait for the official permission to make them public. You can ask in their fora, and once they agree, post a link here.

I know that they explicitly didn't want to be listed in the stats the first time they were active, but there was a possibility to see my stats nevertheless here. I still can see them, so the only thing missing is the official OK.

Edit:
Just looked there, I'm there on #33, with 797 credits.

Think we got the ok here: What is status of the project.

I prepared the project for reinstatement. It was not only hidden, but also retired, so I had to fix the histories. After the next update I'll make it visible.

Is there a problem with the project's stats export? There seems to be no updates.

Any idea when it will be added to BAM?

I was able to add it to be BAM! already. I did notice it was only for existing account, and that you couldnt use BAM! to creat an account.

Thanks. I had another brain fart, there. I forgot that I needed to tell it to find my account.

I think Willy said they will show up in tomorrow's update.

Do you know why Lattice limit their stats export to the 300 first users?
