A new project is looking for some nice stats sites to publish their new 'stones' by the end of next week!
The admin's post is here.

I got word there is some confusion about the intentions of this projects. Something about $10000 prize money and no explanation about what will happen with the $10000 when the project wins it. Some people want me to put this in the projects' description as a warning for participants.

Is there any truth to it?

It runs distributed.net project (via GPU), in the BOINC wrapper. Just like yoyo@home does (via CPU).
