Retire it. No possible return date in the "near" future especially with the loss/destruction of the Arecibo telescope.
Who knows who/what they actually "discovered" if anything with 20 years of data to sift through.

No objections. I think it is a good time to retire it.

Regarding SETI email December 29, 2020, soliciting donations for ongoing and upcoming products, does this mean they will once again farm out data for processing?

Likely not. Probably hoping you'll think so and send in a donation. Their billionaire benefactor can easily cover it

The billionaire benefactor supports Breakthrough Listen program, NOT Seti@home. Seti@home depended on the University Space Sciences Lab budget and the volunteer donors for operating expenses.

Well, the dude can probably afford a little cash to help them out.
Thing is there really is no more Seti@Home anymore. Seems to be Seti@Seti now.
Unfortunately, our part appears to be done. If they wanted money to develop an app so that BOINCers could help process the data they already have I'd be more inclined to help. I don't remember all of the specifics and reasoning for the shutdown, but it may have ran a few years too long as it is if there was as big a backlog as I seem to recall.
It's too bad. Didn't do as much crunching there as many, but particularly enjoyed browsing the forum from time to time.
