This project don't send work since October 2006.

I think it could be considered as retired

Yes, it's been a long time without hearing something new from there.
But I still hope that the project will come back to life. I'll quote a post from their admin Marc (although that post is quite old... ):

Currently nobody is working on HashClash,
since I want to devote my time on getting my degree.
Hopefully we will have work again around mid 2007,
this time for SHA-1 instead of MD5.
And then I also want to implement serverside determined credits.

Hello everyone,

First of all, I am happy to announce that I've received my Master's degree cum Laude!
Currently we are still working on MD5 and chosen-prefix collisions.
However, project HashClash is not likely to become active again soon.

If you enjoyed crunching for us on hashfunctions then I would like to suggest this new BOINC project working on SHA-1, the successor of MD5:

Thanks for your help!

*Sniff* I had hoped HashClash would come to life again. But SHA-1 Collision Search is sure a good "replacement".
