As more and more projects are adding support for x86-64, if you're interested, I made one such client available at boinc_5.4.11_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.gz (note that it's been gzip'ed).

The new AMD64 client, version 5.8.11, for Linux can be found at boinc_5.8.11_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.tgz and for Windows, by Crunch3r, at boinc_5.8.11_windows_amd64.zip.

on Gentoo Linux 2.6.20 SMP Opteron 165 at 2850Mhz and 2x1GB of RAM
