@Stacie, I suspended just network, replaced the file, resumed. I had to click "retry" in the Transfer tab that worked instant

Or, how about removing BOINC completely from each PC, then reloading from scratch? Would wipe out work in progress, but would be a clean install, correct?

I closed BOINC, R.click Boinc files, rename crt to crt.OLD, copy/paste new crt (April'20),restarted system.Next>

@James, no, cert needs to be updated;this is internal file in BOINC folder that needs to be updated

Is all of this applicable only for Collatz, which I am NOT running, or is it applicable to stats for all projects?

As far as I can tell James, this is a BOINC-wide requirement for all projects; I think the admins of individual projects>

may have overlooked the need to keep the cert up to date..?So not all projects are affected..

For my short list of projects it only affected Collatz & Universe. Not Einstein, Milkyway or Primegrid.

Uninstalling and re-installing the same gives the same problem. Go to Boinc Forums and get after Dr Anderson for new Boinc.

The directory that someone found the new crt bundle in is also a Alpha / Beta DL directory use at risk

Just replace the cert. file. It seems start working again, but computer is slow, need to see if task completed and u/l. Thx!
