PlanetQuest aims for 20 million user or more in the long run, and will open up for a 50,000 user limit beta test in december. Please prepare to make your discoveries.

Seems CPDN dug itself into a deep muddy hole...

@ZdejPoham: I received 1,229Cr today with CPDN

@6Teacher: Well I'm still missing 6 trickles worth of credits.

CPDN needs to work on their trickles. I disconnected from that project because I never got any feedback that the work I was doing was being recorded. I can live without being credited here, but without the trickles being updated it looks like I am wasting a lot of computer time.

What is wrong with CPDN? They toke 22'000 credits away from my teams-total (crunchers@home)!..;-(

Go to this page: http://www.planetquest.org/support/missions/ to make a donation to PlanetQuest, they need 590,000 USD.

If PlanetHunter needs $590,000 (!!) USD then they have a LONG way to go

I had CPDN showing the trickles under one of my hosts but crediting the results to someone else's host. Emailed long ago, haven't heard.

Will the CPDN issues ruin the scientific credibility of the data we're computing? Whether or not the data is valid, it's a fair question to ask if it's being compiled in a way that makes the experiment a convincing one

There are long threads in the CPDN forum on this topic. Some WUs were given to one user and registered for a different one. No repair possible. You have to decide wether to abort the job or give away the rest of the credits for this job, too.

They are in the middle of recalculating the credits. My own credits seem to be up to date since a few hours.
