(more relates to BAM! than Stats)

Apparently Einstein@Home got rid of SSL for BOINC and uses HTTP protocol only, so URL for project has to be http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/
Web part still uses SSL.

Ignore the BOINC manager message. Both https and http work fine. There are reasons for the project to keep the default at http (older BOINC clients) but BOINCstats/BAM! had to switch over or otherwise stats could fall behind.

So, for everyone panicking about this message:
28-3-2016 11:13:54 | Einstein@Home | This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/
Ignore it, thinks will work just fine!

...and why getting no new work until I disconnect from BAM?

This is an Answer from Christian Beer:

First: The message will appear as long as you use BAM to attach to Einstein@home on this host

Second: The message tells YOU to dettach and reattach after the last task was crunched. The Client can not do this on it's own.

If you don't like the message, you need to stop using BAM on this host, detach from Einstein@home (after setting "no new work" and the last task is reported), attach Einstein@home using the URL I gave in 155501.

I have this problem on two WIN-PCs. Same behavior.
Einstein project was removed automaticly (after finish work)! It happened with other PCs/Users too.
After the project was removed it come back after restart BOINC.
But now twice! Two entrys "Enstein" with same Computer ID.
Einstein also create a second PC/duplicate too.

Now a message:
Einstein@Home: Notice from BOINC
You are attached to this project twice. Please remove projects named Einstein@Home, then add http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/

I detached the PC from Einstein on BAM!.
One PC is still running with WUs. The other had removed Einstein, but:
It come back automaticly, after reboot, without BAM! Why?

I post this problem in german language here: Accountprobleme

At one PC I stop/cancel WUs from Einstein immediately. So I can delete the second PC in Einstein, because it has no work finished.
On the other PC some WUs where finsihed on the new/second Computer_ID. I cannot delete this duplicat in Einstein. Message:

PC 12145828 hat eine überschneidende Nutzungszeit: (30 Mar 2016 - 31 Mar 2016), (9 Dec 2015 - 31 Mar 2016)
Es gibt keine Computer die mit diesem zusammengeführt werden können.

So it´s not a trivial problem with two project entrys.

Because I created a backup of file BOINCaccount_einstein.phys.uwm.edu in the same folder! Crazy.
If a file exist which start with: account.ein..., BOINC give a message in the logfile at startup:

...48:37 | Einstein@Home | Duplicate account file account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu.xml - ignoring

I test it and create a copy named:
account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu - Kopie.xml
or
account_einstein.phys(Kopie).uwm.edu.xml
ditto
account_einstei(Kopie).phys.uwm.edu.xml

All this filenames lead to a second profile in Boincmanager.

I had nearly the same problems that hsdecalc described - plus one more:

On one pc Einstein is always set to 'no new work' after some minutes (or maybe hours).

So please correct the BAM-settings for Einstein - it does not work!!

Then show me the XML files that put Einstein to no new work.

I have hosts on Einstein with no issues so can't investigate without them.

For a few day now Einstein seems to work without changing to 'nnw'.
Did you fix something? I couldn't find a XML file causing the changes.

Anyway - thank you, Willy
