I signed up for the projects Milkyway@home and Rosetta@home using BAM. However, it is showing my account as being liftruck for those projects. When I checked the Milkyway@home login it said there was no account associated with my email. I removed the project and re-added it and now it made a login for me, but the BOINC Manager is still showing the account as liftruck.

Any suggestions?

From the event log, please post the lines starting with "Account manager:".

Did you attach to BAM! with username/password, email address/password or weak authenticator?

Also, did you add the projects to BAM! just prior to adding them to the host?

I don't remember if I added the projects to BAM! just prior to adding them to the host, but I don't think I did.

The above lines did not generate automatically when I opened BOINC. I had to click 'Synchronize with BOINCstatsBAM!' in the Tools tab to get it to generate.

It seems that the host CPID is no longer a way to uniquely identify a host. I've seen two cases now where two different hosts from two different users have the same CPID. To mediate the issue I've added the public IP to check to find the correct host.

To see if it solves the issue, please remove BAM! from the host, remove the projects, then attach to BAM! again.

Removed BAM! from the host and then removed the projects. Tried to attach to BAM! twice about 3 hours apart between each attempt. Both times "Failed to add account manager".

When you said "Remove the projects", did you mean all projects or just the ones that had the incorrect username?

Yes, remove all projects.

Found a possible error in my previous fix, please try again.

Removed all projects and tried to attach to BAM! again. This time it successfully attached and added my projects.
