I am wondering if this is a bug or a feature:

1. From the Resources page in BAM I change the resource share for a project and click Update.
- the project shows "success" under last update
- I can go to the project's web page and see it updated correctly.

2. I go to a Boinc client and update that project and the resource share reflects the new value.

3. I select synchronize with BAM on the boinc client and the resource share reverts to the old value.

4. I go back to the Resource page in BAM and the resource share still shows the new value. The project's web page also shows the new value.

5. I go the the host list and select a host using that project and the resource share listed here is the old value. This evidently does not get updated when I change a value from the resource page.

I think there should be an option that allows a global update for all hosts when a resource share is changed for a project.

I hope I explained this well enough.

Thanks!

There is, if you put a dash [-] in the box on the host page for a given project, the host uses the value supplied by the project (project preferences). Otherwise, the value that is supplied by the host page is a host specific override for the resource share.
This signature was stolen from somewhere.
