Enigma shows Projekt down but its running
MindMoedling shows nothing

Enigma project servers are down for a while. (Administrator is unable to administer, see sight) You will not be able to find that account for a while.

As for the MindModeling, BOINCstats is pointing at the wrong MindModeling site. Knowing Willy, it will be fixed shortly, though it may have to wait till he gets off work.

What's seems to be weird is MindModeling@Home shouwed up in our team stats last update, but it didn't show up in user or able to find account when signing up.

If you follow the links you see that it is indeed your points, but the data was last updated the 21st of Feb. I think this is linked to the fact that BOINCstats is pointing to the wrong MindModeling.

That's what strange. It's pointing to the wrong place and I don't have an account there and we haven't created a team there yet because the Account Creation is disabled. So, there isn't any stats for our team there.

The URL it's pointing to now has a link to the right place if you want to participate, though. It looks like there's going to be two different project. It'll all get starighten out I imagine.

I emailed with Jack from MindModelling and he assured me I'm using the correct URL's.

His site tells a different story.

mindmodeling.org/rpi claims to be for internal testing only. It refers people who want to actually run MM to go to mindmodeling.org. Once you reload at the root, you're automatically redirected to mindmodeling.org/beta.

The beta site seems to have accounts it picked up from the BOINC-wide teams site, whereas the "internal" rpi site has the teams, but has deleted the users.

He's got other issues too. The e-mailer page to get your account key sent to you is broken. It redirects to an RPI Web Outlook page, instead of mailing out the account keys like it should. Can someone with a working account tell him this? I can't get into my account, and there's no way to contact anyone at MM without an account for the forums.

It seems to be very confusing. Here is where the MindModeling@Home site where I started to sign up: http://mindmodeling.org/boinc/ which pointed me to this URL: http://www.mindmodeling.org/boinc_BETA/ for the MindModeling@ Beta and there it gave this http://MindModeling.org/beta/ for the project. Now there's a new one http://mindmodeling.org/rpi/ URL pointing to here http://mindmodeling.org/beta/ to volunteer for the project.

I've been with the project since 2008/02/04 and never noticed all these URL changes going on. Who would have thunk it?

Hi Grenadier,

Our team is signed up for BOINC-Wide Teams and it's not listed there at rpi. That's why I couldn't undersatnd how stats should up in in our team stats here, which are wrong but they did show up.

Are you trying to get to your account here http://mindmodeling.org/beta/ ? If so and you can't get to it, let me know and I got tell Jack.

The e-mailer is still not working though. I was (and still am) trying to get my account key mailed out so I can reset my password. Clicking the "forgot password" link on the Account login page brings me to https://mail.uspositioning.com/owa/auth/logon.aspx?url=https://mail.uspositioning.com/owa&reason=0, instead of just mailing me the message like it should.

I'm not sure exactly where you are at this time. Did you get an account created already? If so, have you you tried to get to you account using Email and password? I can only remneber using the account key on a few projects.

The account was created automatically via the BOINC-wide teams function, which I am signed up for.

Usually, when this function creates a team and the founder's account, it enters a random password. To reset the password, you need to get the project to e-mail you your account key. You can then login to the account with the key, and change the password to something more memorable.

Anyway, in this case, MindModelling does not have their e-mailer set up properly, so I'm stuck at the point of requesting the key from their site. Since I can't e-mail the key, I'm effectively locked out of the account.

Jack said it was fixed. Did you get your key?

No, and i just tried again yesterday.

Account key wasn't there the last time I checked.

Tried again yesterday and finally got my key. Thanks for playing messenger to the project admins.
