I'm running 2 projects on my computer and have been for about 1 year. (Seti@home and einstein@home) I have set the resource share on each of them to 500. From the Projects tab in BOINC I select each project and click on the update button. After the update, each of them shows a resource share value of 500. I then click on the "Tools" menu option and select "Synchronize with BOINC Stats BAM" When the sync completes and I click on the "Finish" button, the resource share numbers change to 700 and 30.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Did you check your Project resources page?

Yes, I have checked the Project Resources page. Both projects have the resource share set to 500. When I look at the XML files, the account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu.xml and account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml show the resource shares set to 500. When I sync with BAM, the acct_mgr_reply.xml file has the resource shares set to 700 and 30.

Did you use the link I provided?

What about the "Project list" page under "My BAM menu"?

Yes, I used the link provided. The first line on the screen is "BAM!|Project resources" and it shows both projects with the Resource Share set to 500. The "Project list" page under "My BAM menu" shows "500 50.0%" for both projects.

Did you set the 700/30 resource share for your host (select the host in your host list)? This overwrites the resource share set for the projects.

And scroll down far enough! I did look at that page, because I suspected something similar, but I missed those fields :-)

That's where I had it screwed up. Thanks for the help. All is well now.
