Excuse me if I am being stupid here. I have checked the FAQ and searched the forums.

When I sign in here, and look at Project List, it is empty, though one project (Milkyway) has been running continuously on my PC for 3 months, and another (malariacontrol) is currently running, after a brief period of detachment.

I go to 'Sign-up for projects', and try to Find Account for these projects. The above error message appears, though I haven't been asked to input my passwords for these projects!

I have tried 'Renew CPUID' and waited half-an-hour before repeating the above, with no effect.

Regards, Bob

The F.A.Q. says:
BAM! doesn't find my existing accounts at the projects, while I'm sure they're there.

BAM! can only find accounts when the email address, the username and the password of the project are the same as those of BAM!. Check these at the project, and change it when needed.
(Emphasis by me)

Gundolf

Many thanks Gundolf!

I shall read the FAQ more carefully in future
