Not at the moment because some projects do not support this. If you do not have any projects linked to your account yet we can change it.

I need to change my BAM password because BOINC requires at least 6 characters during connection and I had 4 so it will not connect to my BAM account.

This is a project specific setting. If I recall correctly it varies from 2 to 6 on the projects I am familiar with. It may be an idea to check on this and set the BAM minimum password length to the maximum of any projects it supports.

Willy-

I have a similar problem with passwords - apparently on some projects I haven't been attached to for a while, where I never registered a PW due to that not being an option at the time in September 2004 when I first became involved with BOINC and now that's all fixed. However I cannot specify the password in the Edit Account Information window - the project list is empty and I have no cpid listed. Thanks for your help!

In this case you should create a password at the projects themsselves.

That's exactly what I did on the 17th. All 6 projects have the same email address, zip code, and password. There still is no cpid in BAM. I believe it's because BAM doesn't have a stored password in it and since I cannot change it without your help I'm stuck.

If you do not have any projects linked to your account yet we can change it.

I'm not linked to any projects in BAM and I still can't change my BAM password.

Thats because it is disabled, due to some projects not supporting this change, so even with no projects assigned it is blocked out on BAM

I have the same problem. I set my password for all projects to the same six characters, but I created my BAM account with only five characters as password unfortunately, BAM doesn't accept my password if I append a space, so it can't sign on to my projects.

So, would you please change the password for me, Willy?

I enabled changing the emailaddress and password. I quote from the edit page, as this is very important:

REMEMBER: BAM is still in BETA! That means that updating your email address or password is also in BETA! When something goes wrong, your project account may become unavailable!

I tested it, and I had no problems with it, but I do not have an account at all projects with my test-account.

I don´t know where to report my problem so I do it here.
The standard way to change the password offered on this website doesn´t work or I´ve misinterpreted it.

Uh, the big "Edit" button on the "Main account page" isn't obvious enough for you? It's the page you see when you log in to the site.
