firstly to clear something up, does BAM/BAM! mean "BOINC Account Manager" or "BOINCstats Account Manager" ?

i'd recommend the second one because the first is too general, and implys that the boincstats service is the only AMS

secondly if BAM means BOINCstats Acct Mgr, then there are quite a few typos on various pages, one such page is the main BAM page, but the <title> of all pages would need to be changed as well, to avoid confusion

Nope. As it stays in the F.A.Q: BOINC Account Manager. And it just suits BAM! because till now it is the only Account manager

well that won't be the case in future

and if you're sticking with BOINC Account Manager, then the news item/feed is wrong (take a look), and you'll need to notify the author of the BOINC site to update their news/feed too, to avoid confusion

I also think the name should be BOINCstats account manager.
There will be others eventually and BOINC account manager would refer to any/all of them in my mind. Grid Republic I am expecting to see go public at any time for instance.

Look at it this way:

BAM! is a BOINC Account Manager. From BOINCstats

So it's the BOINCstats Account Manager, which happens to be a BOINC Account Manager.

And the name does not need changing there is another one in development called Grid Republic so as you can see there is no conflict in the name

And since it is Grid Republic they could use the name GRAM - Grid Republic Account Manager.
