You knew this was coming...

Now that you are collecting more "hardware" data on each host for CPU, GPU, drivers, vbox etc., it would be good to summarize that in a table that is sortable etc. This would give the user the ability to easily compare the status of things on misc hosts, like driver & vbox & OS versions.

I suggest that this becomes a second table in the HostList page, just like you currently have two tables in ProjectList page, instead of adding columns to the existing table.

The columns should be (at least, unless you know of more such data that I don't see on the site):

BAMid
HostName (clickable)
OS+version
VBox
CPU name
CPU NumThreads
GPU name+number
GPU driver

Of course, sortable on columns, with the "Open all rows in a new browser tab" button I suggested in https://boincstats.com/en/forum/4/11591,1 and the fixed row of column headers from https://boincstats.com/en/forum/4/11592,1.

If I may add a suggestion here? I think it's relevant to this thread.

Current, HostName for an Android device shows something like "android_abc123de", that is, 8 alphanumeric characters after "android_". I find it very difficult to remember which of my devices is which.

Some project sites (eg Universe@home) include "Model" when you go to Your Computers. Could this be added on the HostList page, as well as below HostName in the Host Information page you get to when clicking on a host? This would make it much easier to identify the devices.

The info provided under "Model" looks like this: LGE LG-D802 - SDK:19 ABI: armeabi-v7a.
I would suggest cutting off from "- SDK:" to the end, as it's only the first part that most people would need to know the device.

I hope this makes sense, and I hope it will be considered and added as and when Willy has time

Make a Spreadsheet in Google Docs.

Only way I can keep track and access from any of my devices.
