I haven't created that page yet (that thing called time).

Another reason is that I wanted to wait until there were a reasonable amount of ratings.

I think the list will be online next weekend.

Could you not show how many points a project has got??

Its OK seeing the rankings but it doesn't show the full picture other than the top ranking project it would be better if users could see how many points have been awarded to each project.

So 10 people vote for SETI (or other projects) that's a maximum of 50 points it could get then obviously show how many points it would have out of the 50 it could get?

Thought about showing the points, but I'm afraid it gets into a competition then.

"Hey, my favo project is 4 points short of moving one place up, let's shift points"

Good idea, well made.

First I thought I would have problem with CPDN and BBC with are actually one (same application, same goals), but then I realized different forums, history etc. and then my choice was much easier.

It is good that BAM! users can adjust their points later as they get knowledge of more projects...or they knowledge of particular project expand.

Nice feature with the project rating, but in my eyes 10 points are not enough to divide them appropriate. There must be some more to "step" the projects right away.
Can't describe it better in english.
Only a suggestion, but for me it would be better if there were as many points as projects. This would allow a little more variation...

I guess the idea of having less points than projects is a good one - you can't simply put a point to each project. Also, not everyone knows each and every projects and simply can't differ all the stimulus.

It seems that having half points of number of available projects is also sensible. But it would bring a problem of not having fixed points to divide.

so maybe it would be a good option if everyone could give a mark (between 0 and 10 points) to all projects he is attached. because, what about a person, that is attached to over 25 projects and like 11 of them and would like to give it mark? he would have to give it to maximum 10 of them and still remember that one point is almost nothing..
