Just found a wrong link on the BAM-Welcome-Site:
If you are an existing user then the projects where you already have an account will be imported into BAM when you create a BAM account. These projects can now be managed from BAM (like setting preferences or resource shares). You can attach your existing hosts to BAM (instructions) and control them from BAM.

The instructions are referring to "http://boincstats.com/bam/register.php"!

Indeed. That has been there for a long time.

But it's fixed, thanks!

Ah well, I see.
More curious, it looks like I misreaded the text a bit and first thought it would be the instructions for "preparing a new host". I was looking for something like that as of my problem here, in case I simply did anything wrong which BAM doesn't accept. But it still doesn't work for me.
