I have multiple same usernames with different cpids and they aren't merging.
All projects are right now using the same e-mail and username.

I've tried everything to fix it, including re-attaching BAM to BoincMgr, Sync BAM, "Update" all projects while using BAM in Boinc manager, and waiting until this Sunday.
It only seems to be getting worse, with all of my accounts now reverting to an older cpid 480... instead of the efe... used by BAM.

Is there any way I can have my BAM account revert to using the old cpid? How can I get the cpid to merge properly?
Is there any way to make it happen more quickly?

Found out what the problem was.
Had United States for BAM, but International for accounts.
This made the CPID split

Really? Is it fixed now?

The CPID is generated by a project based on your initial email addres (and password I believe) and should not ever change unless another project forces the project through means of the BOINC client. BAM! is not involved in this process in any way. BAM! only reads the CPID, it never writes or dictates it. In fact, BAM! doesn't even need the CPID to function, it's only used to link to the stats.

Based on that, changing the country should not have any effect.

Hi, no it is not fixed. Nothing I do seems to fix it.

When I signed up I mistyped the email address. And I may have changed the password later. I fixed the email address later.
Is that the source of the problem?

Now all the projects are using a separate cpid for my stats, while the account I log in to is getting no stats.
Is there anything I can do to make the two accounts one?

PS: I really don't understand how the cpid works.
It was working okay before, I was missing out on some credits going to the mystery account 480xx cpid. But after adding back poem@home, all the cpids reverted to the other mystery account.

Okay, I think I understand it a little better now.

I used renew CPID and my BOINC Manager appears to be using the 480XX CPID, but the web interface still shows efeXX cpid. Do I just need to wait it out?

Is there a reason my username shows up twice in the search? Is there a way to get rid of one of them?

Hey

I don't know if i can ask here for a similar issue. I have 2 CPIDs since nearly 2 Weeks.

Try this: Search SandraGerland ...

The one with Profile is my original BAM!Account, the one without is a second, newer one i have, since i started to compute with GPU (after an OS upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS to the new 16.04 LTS). All my actual active Projects switched to the new CPID (starting with 7ccb...).

All Projects have the same E-mail, Username and PW for Login.

Now my Question: Is there an another Way to merge the new account to my old existing one (the one CPID started with cb8b...) as hope and wait that BAM solve this ?

Sorry for my bad english, its not my natural Language.
Thanks and lovely Greets, Sandra
