Why does changing an email create a new CPID? Will renewing the CPID allow projects to adjust the users stat to reflect credit received under the old CPID? Projects also rename the username to username_1.

Over the years I have used 3 different email accounts for BOINC projects. BAM! shows 3 different accounts for my user name, 3 different user IDs, and 3 different CPIDs. Is there a way I can sync these accounts? Below are the 3 user IDs and corresponding CPIDs.

user ID CPID

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

notes: the last CPID is the one being used by my active projects, BAM! is still using the second one, the first one is the original when I first started using BOINC and BAM!. I also changed by username today to labrat42 from Bill42.

another issue: the main account page has my user name as labrat42 and my detailed stats page has it as Bill42.

Changing your account name or email is one of the factors that will trigger a new CPID. Standard procedure is to attach all of the projects in question to one host (no work has to be done, just contact the project server) and then wait a few days for the projects to settle on the new CPID. The CPID functions of the account manager will only function if you have hosts attached to it.

I changed the email on 11 Sept and BAM! has not synced with the new CPID yet. How long does this usually take?

Some projects update a lot slower than others, not much you can do other than wait.

Is this why I'm second with the team "ComputOurs" and now I've changed my email address I've shown up as number 2 AND number thirteen, I've also changed from France to International for no apparent reason! I notice that another team member has three accounts! He has remained French though.
