My user name on all my 40+ BOINC accounts is marmot (except one).

Marmot is in use already here at BAM! and trying to change the password doesn't send a notice to any of my email accounts.
So, I don't think it's an account I created and lost the credentials to but is someone else's acct (it would be odd for me to use a different email for BOINC anyway).

Tell me there is another option besides signing up for 40+ new accounts at each project with this new account name.

Also, I absolutely can not lose my current CPID.

If someone else already has that account, I don't think there is really much you can do... You should be able to bring your CPID back, so long as you don't have any retired projects that you are worried about.

For example, how do I add my Asteroids@home account with user 'marmot' to BAM?

The email will match, I can make the password match (although the idea of having 40 accounts with all the same password makes my skin crawl as it's a massively bad security practice) but the account name will not match.

Unfortunately, the way BAM! is written requires you to use the same email, username, and password as your BAM account. It's possible that it may change in the future, but that's the way it is for now. The stats are a bit different since they pull the info from the individual projects based on CPID.

OK, thanks for the info.

I'll continue managing the machines the old fashioned way and will check every few months and see if the new system is implemented.
