I need to update my email address on BOINCstats and across all of my BOINC projects, any advice on what order to do this in or specific steps to take? I'd really prefer to keep my CPID/ RAC/ 5 years Accumulated credit if at all possible. If I have to lose the CPID though, that's OK, RAC and account history though...

What I've gathered is that I should put every project I run on one host, switch my email on every project, contact their respective servers and then wait. Let me know if that's wrong or if I'm missing anything!

Additionally, at some point I had a URL on one of the projects that BOINCstats copied over to my profile, any way to remove that? I'm fairly sure it was removed from all of my project accounts but I'll double check.

Thank you!

If you are using the account manager, you just need to change the email address (or other account info) at BAM and the changes wil be made at the projects for you. Unfortunately, your CPID is going to change because that's one of the factors that BOINC uses to generate the CPID. With that, your credit history will also disappear. If you have credit at any retired projects, you may also lose that unless you had that project attached to BAM at the time it was marked as "retired". That is a security check to make sure that someobdy else can't steal your credit, but BAM will cache that stats info for you.

Regarding the URL, did you check "Main account page" here?

Thanks for the help. I'm not using BAM! and don't plan to use it at this point. The URL was deleted from my main account page here some time ago as well as from all active projects that i've participated in, I'm guessing it got pulled over from a retired project, I set a new URL via my main account page so hopefully it will override the old one.

If updating my email generates a new CPID and resets my credit history, is there a way to merge CPIDs? Honestly, if that means begging a moderator I will, I'd be perfectly happy to pay a fee if they set it up as a service since I realize someone might have to manually edit a table or something like that (I can't be the only one who wants 100% of their BOINC participation recorded in one place). Here's hoping.

The history features are provided by the stats sites, the projects only report total score when they export the data. So, it's possible that one of the stats sites might offer that functionality. AFAIK, BOINCstats doesn't keep any data for old CPIDs once it has been updated/merged to a new one... I lost all of my historical data back to 2005 when I changed email addresses a few years ago so I feel your pain.
