Hi can i get some help PLEASE, i have 2 old CPID's and 1 current CPID, is it possible to get all 3 CPID's to show stats under my current CPID. We are talking about 200 million credits worth of old closed projects which is considerable.

Can someone get back to me on this please,
Thanking you in advance,
With Kind regards,
Gentilli.

P.S. i have tried to do some reconciliations but probably made things worst among the 3 CPID's.

If anyone can give any help with this problem I'd like to hear about it as well, I am founder of "ComputOurs" and have one member with 2 CPIDs, another with 3 CPIDs, it's a ruddy nightmare!

Dude, I have the same problem. I have changed my email addres and since then My CPID splitted. 1 inactive Project - POEM@home - is left with different CPID, all others have the same. The boincstats MainAccount page is showing incorrect CPID (the one from POEM I guess), thus i virtually "lost" more than 11 milions of credits.

I recently had a machine break down, rebuilt it, same name + new CPID! Broke down again, got someone to rebuild it with a few new parts, they installed W10, started again, same machine, same name + ANOTHER new CPID. Reinstalled Linux 'cos I hate W10 restarted, yup you guessed it, a FOURTH CPID! One of the "old" machines started showing -40Million points, a month has passed today and the machine was offered with a delete "red X", duly clicked on this and there has been a slight improvement: Day 5. But I still have three machines with different CPIDs, none of which I can trace in my account, I tried "Renew CPID" a few days ago but there's a warning that there can be a delay, so I'll wait another month and see what happens. In the configuration files for the machine there are two other CPIDs mentioned. I just can't see how this is going to work out.

Mind you: BOINC itself creates a new CPID for a host if there is a change in hardware or OS, sometimes a change in local ip-address is enough for a new host-CPID. Stat sites like BOINCstats are only reporting the various hosts they are receiving from the the project sites.

The BAM!-function "Renew CPID" is only for your user-CPID, not for the CPID of hosts. You should log into the site of the BOINC-projects in which you participate and look at the host list over there. Most sites offer a "Merge host" button which tries to merge identical hosts. This changes in hosts are (afaik) processed once a week here at BOINCstats.
