I've started crunching again and I've configured some clients and I was really curious how much credits I got within 24 hours. And it was a surprise, because I've lost 317,353 credits over night (Credit per day: -317,353). So I did more doing nothing... really motivating!

How is this possible?

What projects are you running?
Most likely a SPLIT CPID (Cross Project ID) and/or G.D.P.R. agreement box(es) not checked at your various projects.

Hi Dr. Who Fan,

thank you for your answer, but I didn't understand the sentence about the CPID or what and where G.D.P.R. agreement boxes are?

I am currently participating in following projects:

  • Climate Prediction
  • Einstein@Home
  • GPUGRID
  • MilkyWay@home
  • Universe@Home
  • World Community Grid
  • WUProp@Home

Other things I've changes:
- I left my teams
- I've created new teams
- I've deactivated LHC@Home, because I got upset that I couldn't create a new team, after I've deleted my old one.
- I've changed the country in my profile in 2 projects

Well, the stats search gives out three different maxmoon's, and regarding the projects which are listed under them I guess it's all you, so we have a split CPID obviously.
To combine them, make sure that every project has the same email-adress and that all of them are on the same computer.
You necessarily don't have to do a single task for every project, it can be enough if you just make a project "update".
Then, some of the projects you have listed do need the consent to GPDR, that means that projects are allowed to export stats to the stats sites.
You can check in this thread which projects do need this.
You simply have to go to your account page on these projects and allow them the stats export.
That "should" fix it...

Okay, it's the email address! I tried to change it with BAM! after I started crunching again, but then I tried to change it again, because I created a separate one for Boinc. Some projects don't allow to change the address within a week (why?), which caused the issue that some projects have another email address now.

The projects Einstein, Milkyway and LHC told me that I can change my email address on January 30th again. But I found emails from them, which let me revert the email address changes after I've changed my password (at least for Einstein this was necessary. Again why?).

I've checked the CPID and they match with the one on the BAM! page. So I hope tomorrow will be everything okay again

I will report it if it worked. Thanks a lot for your help

All my points are back

Thanks a lot for your help.

I might not change my email address again, because there might be retired projects, which have my old email address. And I was somehow surprised, that Seti@home is a retired projects.

The conclusion is: If you have started crunching decades ago, do not change your email address if you don't want to loose points.
