Good Luck. Keep your fingers crossed.

I was going to do something similar. I was going to NNT them all. Then when all tasks were completed, uninstall BOINC Manager on hosts, Rename the hosts and re-install Manager. That should wiork too. Only problem is it would create more host. Since it's not too important and I want to see if programmers can fix the problem, I decided not to go through all that work.

All this CPID wrestling makes a return to folding@home tempting.
Shame can't get boinc credits from Stanford and the other standalone projects.....only kidding!!!
