About two days ago, when I logged on to Boincstats, I noticed that my credits had dropped by almost 600,000 points. I waited a day to see if the problem fixed itself, and so far no luck. What could be the problem? My CPID is:

1. Read the FAQ

2. Which project is missing? What have you done with it or every other one?

This might be the rest of you. Here.

It seems a little weird that so many projects would jump ship at once though.

Looks like a split CPID. Check the FAQ's.

Best bet, make sure one machine is attached every project, even if it can't run them all.
This signature was stolen from somewhere.

That's me, alright. Thanks for finding them. I didn't have a clue as to how to begin looking for them. Regarding changes to my projects, to the best of my knowledge, I have not done anything differently in the past several weeks or so.

If I read the FAQ correctly, it sounds like the CPIDs will rejoin over time. Is that correct?

Yes, if you "Run at least one system with all projects, or one system with project A and B, and one system with project B and C. If there is a project that runs isolated from the other projects, it's CPID with never line up." Quotation from FAQ.

And see WyerByter's comment above.

It looks like my stats jumped to the split CPID again on August 8. I'll keep trying the fixes and see what happens.

Well, I have tried running all apps on several machines and still my CPID is split. However, every few days, it takes credit from one of my IDs and sends it over to the other ID. What is irritating is that combined, I am over one million credits and way up in the credit standings. On a split basis, I am just so-so. Any other ideas on how to fix the problem? I have given the original solution almost one month to fix it to no avail.
