I changed my email address in all the projects that are active accept for the 11 projects that are down. As a result all currently active projects changed to a new CPID but my profile has not and as a result its shows my total of the inactive projects. I can live with the fact that I have to have two CPID's, but how do I change my profile and signature to reflect the active projects?.

Did you change your email address at BAM!? Doing it there is the recommended way of changing your email address, since it will make the necessary changes at the projects.

As for getting back under one CPID, you can do so only if you were a member of BAM! when the projects were changed to "retired" status. You would do that under My BAM menu > BOINCstats > Sync retired projects. After changing your email, of course.

1. I changed my email address at BAM first than a few days later at sites where it did not change.
2. I have been a Registered Member of BAM since 2007.
3. Sync retired projects do not work since their email address is different and can not change. Note some of them are not classified as "Retired" but their projects have been down for months. If there is no website, than cannot change the email address. I recon they should be made "Retired".

Thanks for the reply all the same. I should clarify that the use of the word "profile" is a poor choice on my part for I meant the "Main Account Page". It seems that the CPID did not change even though the email address changed OK. The totals shown here are the totals of the sites that are down and not my main page.

I might have used poor choice of words above to describe my problem so let me explain it this way.

My BAM ID is 34996. User ID is 1753565. My Main Account Page CPID is: 98fd388a8bc4d53fc2601bdbb7f675. User: Cruncher Pete can be seen Here
I changed my email address a week ago in BAM and a few days later I changed it at all the Projects web sites that did not change. That new address is currently correctly shown in my account page. I now have two CPID. The newer one that shows up in my stats contains the most Credits earned and reflects the current active projects. This stat might be seen : Here

My problem is that My Account Page still shows the old CPID (and profile) which now only shows the stats of inactive projects who do not export stats or their website is down (11 sites in total) hence can not change the email address. The signature and profile lists the old CPID and shows my current Total Credit for those projects that have not changed to the new CPID. It seems all the active projects changed to a new CPID but BAM did not and retained the inactive projects only with the now old signature giving a low overall credit. How can I fix this please?

Perhaps you only have to wait until Monday. There are two new paragraphs in Post Guidelines. The last one might match:
7: The big all project encompassing CPID update is during Sunday night. Wait until Sunday to see if your BAM! CPID lined up with your projects.

This is not correct. Those projects are already included in your BAM! account but they have an old CPID (BTW: BAM! does not use the CPID for anything other than linking to the stats!)

What syncing retired project does is changing the CPID in the stats table for those projects. This can be done because BAM! "knows" your user-id in every project.

Unfortunately, another Sunday has gone and my CPID and profile still points to the old CPID containing 11 projects that are inactive, offline.

It seems to me that that this error that I am reporting with CPID is a BOINCStats issue and is more than likely a bug. I changed my email address at BOINC and at all active sites two weeks ago. 48 projects changed to a new CPID that starts with dc4cab... BOINCStats did not change and retained the old CPID that starts with98fd388... I note that amongst the 11 projects that are offline or not issuing WU's belong to the old CPID on BOINCStats yet for example Hydrogen@Home and DistRTG changed to the new CPID. I cannot check the other sites since they are not accessible and have been like that for months, they should be Retired in my opinion but that is another sore issue . Do I need to repeat this again in the Bug Report section? Nearly 4Million Credit loss that is not shown in My Totals is not a nice feeling.

Did you use "renew CPID" on your main account page?

I have same problem now. Account points to old CPID (with two retired projects) while all active projects has another CPID. "Renew CPID" and "sync retired" has no effect. :-(

When did you "Renew CPID"?

I also attached to a project recently, and it got ended up sending credit to an inactive profile of mine.
