Did you use the same account information to sign up for BAM!, as you have at the projects? This would include email address, username & password. Also, you need to have projects attached to BAM for your stats to get linked up with your BAM account.

Have a look at the FAQ's. A lot of valuable information there.

I have a very simelar problem.
I have installed boinc_6.10.58_windows_intelx86 on a PC that has never had boinc running previously and want to use BAM as my account manager.
Although I can log into all my projects using my Account Key and I can access the Cross-project statistics and see my BOINCstats that way. (where all details including Team are correct).
But non of my projects appear in my Project list and when using the Sign-up for projects option and the "Find Account" feature, I get
"Checking for existing account at [Project Name] -> -206".
I have use the same account information to sign up for BAM!, as I have at the projects?
This includes email address. (varified)
Username are not the same
Password I am not sure of as I use the Account Key to log into the projects.

How do I get my projects back into the Project list so that I can get BOINC to pick them up?

Quotation from the BAM! FAQ:
BAM! doesn't find my existing accounts at the projects, while I'm sure they're there.

BAM! can only find accounts when the email address, the username and the password of the project are the same as those of BAM!. Check these at the project, and change it when needed.

Hi Gundolf,
Thank you for your reply and Help. Tested your suggestion on one of my projects and it worked.
Find Account result: Checking for existing account at Einstein@Home -> 255 -> account added

Will now try to link Boinc with that project on BAM. If it workes I will do same for my other projects.
Then I will have sorted my first problem as I want to use BAM as my account manager.
Although I have been with the projects for some time this is a fresh installation of Boinc with rejoining or reconnecting to projects.

I hope that you are subscribed to this tread and as you obviously are more familiar with BAM than I am, I would be gratefull if you where prepaired to help me with a few other issues I have concerning Teams. (Could go over to private messages)

Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe.

I'm not, but I check in quite regularly

I'll help wherever I can, but I have virtually no experience with teams.

Ask anyhow, there'll be others to jump in (and the FAQs do help too ).

Hi Gundolf,
lets forgett the teams for now. 1st things 1st.
Project is shown in BAM. Used the Boinc "attach to account manager" Messages in Boinc tells me:
Account manager contact succeeded. I thought great.
The project shown in BAM is not shown in Boinc.
What now?

Let's try to clarify things first ... when you say the project is not shown in "Boinc", do you mean the Boinc Manager - your client software on your computer? Or do you mean the project statistics don't show here at BOINCstats?

If you are talking about project statistics, you will probably need to wait until after the first daily update (in approx 2-3 hours from now) for your project to show up. If you mean the project is not shown in your Boinc Manager client then try clicking on the "Tools" Tab and then select "Synchronize With BOINCstats BAM".

Go to your Host list (My BAM menu) and select host details (click on the host name). If you scroll down, you should see a list of your projects. Look for the "Attach?" checkbox.

There used to be an "Attach new hosts by default" checkbox on the Project list page, but that seems to have disappeared.

Hi Gundolf,
last post resolved!
Went to "Project resources" in the BAM menu and select the project that I wanted to attach.
Ticked "Attach new host by default?" and clicked "Update".
Opened Boinc-Manager>Tools and selected Syncronise with BoincStats BAM.
--- Master file download succeeded and Scheduler got new task

Hi Gundolf and magyarficko,
That was a post overlap. As I was compiling you guys posted.
I use "Boinc" for the client Boinc-Manager on my PC.
I have no "Attach?" checkbox Host list (My BAM menu).
I have a "Attach new host by default?" checkbox on the Project list page.

All is well with the one project I used to test and get myself back running BOINC-Projects.
Thank you for your guidance and help.

Regards
Sami

Congrats on your success!
Just to clarify:

I said "...and select host details (click on the host name)." The checkbox is on the Host details page.
I have a "Attach new host by default?" checkbox on the Project list page.

The checkbox is on the "Project resources" page (as you correctly stated in your other post), not on the "Project list" page.

Additional Info and Hint!
It can happen that once a project is running on the local PC, that the Boinc-Manager>Tools Synchronise with BoincStats BAM will not
succeed in downloading a new project that has been added to BAM, as described earlier in this thread.
The Message "--- Master file download succeeded and Scheduler got new task" will not appear!
There will also be no "Message" informing one of this, shown in Boinc-Manager.
This can be frustrating as one might think that the new project although shown in BAM is not being connected to the local Boinc-Manager.
The work around:
Open Boinc-Manager click on Projects select Tasks and suspend them all one by one.
Now execute Boinc-Manager>Tools Synchronise with BoincStats BAM, again.
This worked for me

Sami,

I am so glade that it worked for you but I had no luck at all using ur Work around when I tried to attach to new projects I had joined.
I created an account with the same credentials as my existing SETI-project and BAM account at the new projects I wanted to use
(Cosmology & MilkyWay) but after making sure that the projects where shown in BAM,
the local Boinc-Manager>Tools Synchronise with BoincStats BAM, did not add the new projects. .

Only after I loged in at BAM, selected "Project List", clicked on "Show hosts" for the new project and ticked the "Attach" box did the
Boinc-Manager>Tools Synchronise with BoincStats BAM work and updated my local Boinc-Manager successfully.
ie. --- Master file download succeeded and Scheduler got new task.

Regards

Have a look at the "Project resources" page; there you will find that you can attach/detach all hosts from a project with one click. Also, there's a check-box there marked "Attach new hosts by default?" that may interest you as well. As you can see, your hosts are not automatically attached after you add the project to BAM.
