Hi

I'm not sure where this should be posted - apologies if this is the wrong place.

One of my hosts is attached to WCG and is accumulating points in WCG (i.e. returning valid work), but in "Detailed statistics for Host ID 12109900" on BOINCstats it doesn't list the WCG project and shows zero change in credit in the last three weeks.

However if I view the "Host details" page it lists WCG and states host is attached, with a link to the WCG "Detailed statistics for Host ID 1562985" - if I click on that link it shows credit earned as recent as 13-May

How do I fix this?

Thanks for any help.

I chose the "Stop using BOINCStats BAM!" option in the Tools menu in BOINC Manager and then re-attached the host to BOINCStats BAM!

The result was a new duplicate host in my Host list with the correct WCG stats - after searching the forums for posts on duplicate hosts I figured the easiest action was to delete the old host - which I've done. It's a shame I've lost the history but c'est la vie.

Could anyone tell me if 'renewing' my CPID would have had any effect on this situation - I'd like to avoid this in the future.

Looking at dates it appears this happened after the specific host had been switched off for over a week.

Since renewing the CPID only affects the account CPID and your problem was with the host CPID, so no, it wouldn't have had the desired effect.

And since some BOINC clients tend to "spontaneously" renew the host CPID, there's no chance to totally avoid this in the future.

Ahh, good to know - thanks for the insight.

(re)creating a (new) host in BAM! does not affect the stats for a host in any way. The only issue could be that the link between the BAM! host account and the host-stats is missing, but that should be resolved after one or two stats updates.
