Empty case by popular demand.

I have decided to name this host "The Dominator" after the Crucial Ram being installed.

This is an ANTEC SonataIII 500 Case w/500 watt PSU...more pics to come as I have time.

A quick note to anyone anxiously waiting to see my pics ,lists, and comments........I will be unable to update this log as I had wanted today due to bandwidth limitations restricting my ability to upload any photos into photobucket. My bandwidth has been severely strained since the SIMAP challenge has begun trying to keep 8 hosts fed, updating kernels, and getting Dominator online...she is basically finished.I am only allowed 425 mb d/l a day with an unlimited window 2-5am CDST which I don't always catch. The uploads still fly fast though under restrictions. At some point later today I will suspend all BOINC network activity, and try to catch my free window to stop this daily merry-go-round. Your patience and understanding is appreciated...the management (hehe)

nice
btw, a little bit of tape and a few tie-wraps go a long way against the wiring, but as long as there's no window in the side-panel...

Thanks MP

I really love that cpu cooler even with the drawback...all copper, lines up beautifully with the case fan for maximum air flow. The clip problem though...if they made that mounting bracket with tabs on all 4 sides instead of just 2 sides it would be perfect, if the bracket is mounted the other way I can't pull the cpu..design flaw IMHO.The neon blue lights make me want to run with the case open! hahaha ..but I don't

I have an extra 120mm fan for the front but didn't install it as I didn't think it was needed and so far I am right Currently @ 3.1Ghz...117 F. We see if I can get er up to 3.6 GHz or so

i've got a CoolerMaster CM-690 case http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?act=detail&id=2908

complete mesh-design so you can see that evil glowing inside

Front :120 mm Blue LED fan x 1, 1200 rpm, 21 dBA
Rear : 120 mm standard fan, 1200 rpm, 21 dBA
Bottom : 120 mm fan
Left: 120mm fan

there's even space for 2 140 mm fans in top

put all the fans to full speed - running @ 3.5 GHz now

let's see if this is still stable
