That 482 isn't very reliable number when you look at the users' stats. And we probably broke something, because there is no work available.

I am not sure how the BOINCstats database works, apohawk. But I guess all user stats should be fine again after the next daily update. Probably this just happened when BOINCstats was trying to get data from SIMAP. So no real damage should occur in the end.

Willy is (as usual) already on the trail of fixing the problems with individual credit stats. Obviously the error is happening on SIMAP's side. I am sure it will get fixed rather sooner than later. Thanks, Willy!

I noticed it happens to all BS challenges when projects go down.
So how about this addition to the stats' update code:
"if project is down then don't trouble yourself with an update"

I would not bet on participants number right now. But if you need a quick heads up: 2 teams >3m now. 4>500k - 9>100k - 13>10k - 20>1k. Crunching Familly seems to have good odds on breaking 1m! Russia Team seems ready to pass BOINC@MIXI.
