haha, well some have said I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor before Just be thankful this isn't WoW and someone isn't playing a Gnome. Those things were good for 2 things, a bite sized snack (as they were the other white meat), and standing in for a football as peeps punted them about /lol Oh, and on the credits, it's not just counting em, but what happens with the wingmen One person seems to keep grabbing 400 WUs, and computer_errors them all within a couple minutes. Whoever (which unfortunately was my wingman a couple days ago, though not now) hasn't figured out his comp is bust yet

Kind of quiet . . . somewhere (can't find it now) I've seen a global map showing how many participants were logged into that particular project. With all the countries represented in this effort, it would be nice to see where from around the world the participants were located. There were no specific numbers, just ranges as represented by the size of the dot.

;-) Well, since Sicituradastra. is an international team, and I
know the members by name, I can tell within 2 minutes, by looking through the stats list in this challenge that we have members running it right now, from; India, Bangladesh, Poland, Italy, France, New Zealand, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Norway, Finland, Australia, Japan, Russian, Hungary, South Africa, Sweeden, and USA. ;-D

My choice as international, is within my freedom but all of you know very well who I am or maybe not. SETI.USA is an International Team and we have people from everywhere that usual appear as International. The human deeds are not belonging of any country.

@Duke: My was not against the choice of being International.
Members with 'no country': there is no country mentioned, even not the choice for the International option.

I have the greater respect for all BOINC crunchers. We are all crunching for a better world Crystal Pellet that was not my intention only my statement about nationality. You are all my BOINC brothers. We are here doing simap work with a healthy rivalry. I want to say that I have the biggest respect for all people present here.

16 teams, 509 participants and an unknown number (but a lot) of countries . . . all working on one task at the same time . . . that's pretty neat when I think about it and I really hadn't thought about it before. Even though I'm on a 'team', it just never occurred to me before, don't know why. The internet was and is a game changer.

The people in Egypt thought so...

In any case, I'm sure there were people from over 100 countries that were busy crunching back when SETI classic was the thing a lot of us were running, before BOINC first came out, as well...

Wow. Whats up?? ;-p There are country statistics here in BoincStats as we all should know.. and there are many many countries involved.. Great! ;-) I thought Nuadormrac was asking for countries represented in This Simap challenge.. so I stated those in my/our team, and CP followed up for his team. Either we have to know where each one is from by name - or each user has to be looked up spesific, since no flag connected to challenge stats.. Lets just say there is many. And in Boinc total there are many more. ;-) But I aint no brother of you. hehe. Good luck with the rest of the challenge!!

We have been crunching away at these wus even before the challenge started and we barely made a dent. Mumps and peppert have chewed through 7 million alone. Great job guys and gals.
