Simap scramble is always fun! Will they release the WUs on time? Or too early/toolate? Will there be enough WUs for the challenge? (though with last challenges that does not seem to be a problem anymore)

1.33M WU's from current batch to go (8-10 days of work) and new protein sequences will be added around 1st of Nov.

I hope Prof. Rattei and his team can bridge the gap between the monthly batches in time. Else I can see the October batch run out in the middle of the scramble. Let's hope the November batch doesn't come too late.

My event log states that when it went to go get work that SIMAP was out of work. But the server status on SIMAP states that it has plenty of work. I'm confused.

The workunits for the about 720.000 new protein sequences (for the November release of SIMAP) will be available directly after the last October batch has been distributed! They estimate that the November batch will need about four weeks of work. whoop whoop whoop whoop Gangnam style !
