I was on a thread on http://signature.statseb.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?id=156, and noticed how the thread display is limited to a box, just like here, yet my big BOINCstats signature is nicely scaled down to fit in there in its entirety while on BOINCstats it gets basically truncated, first by width, and eventually by height (regardless if I choose a 1 column or 3 column signature, it'll get truncated one way or another). Why is that? I don't know much about HTML etc., but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to tell the image to scale down to a certain width as opposed to just letting it truncate. I would prefer scaling.

The same issue is also in the profile page. Check out mine. My "badge signature" from signature.statseb.fr just today got a wee bit too wide for my BOINCstats profile page, even though I have it generated with the max 5 rows that they support; it won't get any less wide than it is now. I would wish to see that area to scale the image down, too...

Thoughts? Reasons for the current behavior? Is this hard to do in HTML?

Another question about BOINCstats signature...
How to configure it?
My English is poor, also, after my brains were attacked by meningitis, my abilities to find something by searching are evidently lowered...
Please, somebody show me the link...
P.S. This question is inspired by default font changing in default signature - instead of Arial like ( let's name it "regular" ) font we see now some "irregular" ( or a bit crazy ) font.

The signature font is low on my to-do list but if possible I will change it back to the previous font.

Thank You, Willy, for so fast reply.
I am almost sure - majority of us here are engineers, scientists etc. But not artists. So, remove the art from the signature, please...

The FreeSans font is changed from the previous OS version. Don't know why, nothing was wrong with it.

I found another version and I will swap them. Tomorrow I think, I want to be able to monitor it if everything goes o.

Changed FreeSans to the new font. Not sure if anything changed though, can't see any difference.

Please elaborate on "scaling".

In my first post on this thread, I have a link to another board. You can see how the whole stats signature fits into their "forum frame" over there. Here, the signature is truncated at the right & bottom if it is too big.

Bump. Basically look at how the exact same signature of mine is scaled & displayed fully on another forum (https://signature.statseb.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?id=156) vs. truncated here on BS below...

I did some debugging, and tried to post the results here, with HTML snippets. The snippets looked good in the preview, but once posted, they showed up as blank lines, regardless if I wrapped them in CODE or PRE or just plain left them plain. So, there is a bug in the forum, or I don't know how to post HTML. In any case, I deleted my attempts at posting this in the usual text format.

Therefore, I took a screenshot of what I wrote: https://1drv.ms/i/s!AvC041C64j0exZMnjfdbBPE5DbsSQA

Sorry for the trouble.

The signature images now scale when they don't fit. Hope they stay readable.

Edit: I can imagine your next reply: the image is cut of at the bottom. Yes, that's correct, it's to prevent signatures which have enormous sizes.

This is awesome! I have no problem with bottom truncation as long as the area allowed accommodates the tallest signature generated by BS. Thank you so much!
