Well, I have seen some signatures that reference this site. And I have looked to see where they can be created to run into the wall ...

Also, cheating and copying the lead in, and then appending my cross project ID does not work, though I have tried the trick using the other person's ID and they work...

Is it me? Is this a feature for only the rich and famous? Or is it a feature that is still in testing.

To be honest, after I ran across the signatures and tracing them to this site I am impressed with the way that the stats are shown, particularly the up and down arrows with data from all of the active projects ...

Thanks for the compliments.

The sig is just like all the projects: in testing.

It should work with your CPID though. Please post your CPID so I can investigate.

And I debated doing that ... <!--emo&-->

and DIDN'T ... dummy Paul!

[Edit]
With my luck you will threaten it and make it work ... My stats are in the Database ... so that was why I was puzzled

I just noticed under the detailed statistics that the cross-project ID is incorrect. The account seems to be accumulating credit for the projects. So, I am puzzled why the CPID is not correct on your site here ...

My current CPID is as I posted before, the one that is being carried here is: a6477942e70ed39f669d1ff2ede05be8

So, I am confused as to why the change in CPID did not make it to the stat site here ...

This is your info in the SETI XML file:

Code:
<user>

<id>1475</id>

<name>Paul D. Buck</name>

<country>United States</country>

<create_time>963916309</create_time>

<total_credit>29569.772953</total_credit>

<expavg_credit>459.200441</expavg_credit>

<expavg_time>1097173638.634490</expavg_time>

<cpid>a6477942e70ed39f669d1ff2ede05be8</cpid>

<url>homepage.mac.com/pauldbuck/index.html</url>

<teamid>30200</teamid>

<has_profile/>

</user>

This is the cpid exported by this and the other projects. Is it different from your account on the SETI site?

The CPID as posted on the projects is hashed with the email address (case sensitive) before it is put into the XML. This is why they are different, and also why the exact email address is important.

Ok, John,

You lost me ... my cpid as listed on the SETI@Home site is
f1267041cc4b6ac5ff4bc0222cd967b4

And my e-mail address is put into all sites the same ...

So, why is the output different? Or are you saying that the internal CPID and the external one are supposed to be, and will be, different from each other?

They should be the same. But didn't SETI just recently split up the main database into a database for the site itself, and a database to create the XML from?

However: your CPID's on BOINCstats all match. When the SETI one changes in the XML, your account will be split up.

Yes they did ...

Howeveer, the CPID has been the same for some time ...

I just hope I don't have to start all over with accumulation of stats ... that will stink...

Well, on this forum I can't even see the picture (is it for the html being disabled?), but if you look [url=http://setifuckers.amdplanet.it/viewtopic.php?p=9921&highlight=#9921' target='_blank]here[/url] you may see what I mean: there is the picture but no figures in it. :?

Framba, you should use this CPID: 67d12dcd20bd4ed846fdbc542a271b4c instead. BOINCstats uses another CPID then the projects.

Wow, thanks a lot! Now it is working.
But where should I find my BOINCStats CPID? ops:

Am I a dummy too? I've tried getting the signature code to generate for me and I get nothing;

If you want that to be an image, change from [ url ] to [ img ] tags.
